This fine silver scalloped-edge collectable coin with gold plating features a wreath of maple leaves featured on the first coins minted for the Dominion of Canada. The maple leaf is a powerful image that represents the land and the spirit of all Canadians, at home and abroad. Canada is home to 10 maples species including the majestic Sugar Maple, favoured for its sap as well as its strong, hard wood.
